Between the two, Sydney and Celina have been through a called off engagement, divorce, and multiple breakups with partners, lovers, and platonic friends. They've worked together to dig deep and explore breakup patterns, how we learn them, and how we can break up with the ones that don't serve us.

How do we respond to breakup? Where have we learned the scripts for what we are supposed to do? How do we support people going through separation and divorce with actual empathy? How do we want to be cared for?

Why do we call relationship endings "failures?" Can we reframe this?

Can we find our truest selves through breakup healing?

Can we celebrate breakups?

Breakups can be liberating when we break up with what no longer serves us. Sydney and Celina realized that very often, breakups are ruled by breakup narratives we learn from pop culture and well meaning friends and family. And that what we really need to do is break up with antiquated societal norms. We are typically not given permission to celebrate the endings of relationships as we are accustomed to celebrating their beginnings.

During our workshop, we're gonna flip the script! We'll explore these questions, learn we can discover ourselves through breakup, imagine what community breakup caregiving could be, and make space for celebration!
